GRHS tracksters lead the way

Glen Ridge High School indoor track and field standouts Katya Dombrowski and Miles Gray enjoyed solid seasons.
Dombrowski, a senior 400-meter runner, had many feats despite nagging knee issues which kept her out of several meets. She took first place at the Super Essex Conference Championships at the Jersey City Armory in January. She was second in the State sectionals in Toms River and qualified for the State Group 1 Championships last Saturday in Toms River in which she did not place in the top six.
Gray, a junior 400-meter runner, peeked throughout the season. He ran from 57 seconds down to 55.4 seconds this season, qualifying him to place in the State Group I sectionals. Miles made it to the State Group I Championships, but did not place in the top six.
Webster leads SHP
Glen Ridge’s Kyle Webster was a key contributor for the Seton Hall Prep of West Orange indoor track and field team, excelling in the 55-meter dash and 200-meters this season.
