GRHS hockey players spark team

Glen Ridge seniors Matt Lander and Max Linnett sparked the Verona/Glen Ridge high school varsity ice hockey team to wins over West Orange, Millburn and Bernards, all at Codey Arena in West Orange.
Lander had two goals and two assists in the 5-3 win over West Orange on Friday Jan. 13
Linnett had three goals and one assist and Lander had two goals and three assists in the 9-3 win over Millburn on Saturday Jan. 14. Glen Ridge junior Jake Biondi made 34 saves in the win.
Lander had four goals and three assists and Linnett added one goal in the 8-4 win over Bernards on Monday Jan. 16.
Verona/Glen Ridge has won four of five games and eight of 10 to improve its record to 8-4-2.
