GRHS boys' hoop team falls to Livingston, Cedar Grove

The Glen Ridge High School boys’ varsity basketball team lost to Livingston and Cedar Grove.
Jackson Kinley and Jamie Smith each had eight points for the Ridgers in a 51-26 home loss to Livingston on Jan. 3. Livingston improved to 5-1 in this Super Essex Conference crossover game.
Devin Garrity scored 17 points, but the Ridgers lost to Cedar Grove, 46-43, in overtime on Jan. 5 in Cedar Grove. The Ridgers led 26-21 at halftime. Cedar Grove took a 31-30 lead at the end of the third quarter. Kinley had eight points and Smith added seven points. Zach Thomas and Dan DiGioia each had four points and Solomon Givens had two points for GRHS.
