Glen Ridge U11 baseball clinches winning season

The Glen Ridge U11 travel baseball team has guaranteed a winning season with a devastating victory over West Essex.
Glen Ridge scored runs in every inning and posted a 19-1 victory in Fairfield on July 12. Every player on the team had at least one hit, with multiple hits by Matt Myles, Griffin Cancro, Carter Crutchfield, Billy Kelty and James Malik.
The defense, led by Charlie De Luca, Mark Nyhuis, Ryan Liddy, Lucas Hanson and Anthony Santigate, held West Essex scoreless for most of the game. Grant Naylor pitched three outstanding innings, allowing only one unearned run.
Malik nailed down the victory by closing the game.
