Glen Ridge Women's Club to support Red Cross Month with Second Annual Blood Drive

The Women's Club of Glen Ridge will once again sponsor a blood drive with their local American Red Cross chapter on Wednesday March 3rd. The drive is sponsored by the Community Service Department of The Women's Club of Glen Ridge. It will be held from 12 to 6pm in the community room at their location at 219 Ridgewood Avenue, across from Glen Ridge High School.

All healthy adults ages 17 and older and weighing more than 110 pounds are invited to donate the gift of life. Sixteen year olds may donate if accompanied by their parent or guardian. Some restrictions concerning medications or travel may prevent you from donating blood. Please visit www.redcrossblood.org or call 1(800) GIVE-LIFE to check on stipulations that may keep you from contributing to the blood supply for a time.

The Women’s Club of Glen Ridge is excited to host the American Red Cross blood services program once again. Last year over 40 pints of blood were collected for local hospitals and trauma centers. They look forward to collecting even more at this second annual drive.
